While I'm driving my car and while the car is in idle if the air conditioner or heat is on the car sounds and feels like its turning off, making the car shutter. The rpm goes up and down. Then eventually the car turns off. I looked online and everything I found leaned towards a bad throttle body. I was wondering if what is going on with my car is really a bad throttle body and what are other effects of a bad throttle body. Thanks in advance for all your advice

Well if you clean your Throttle body then you will most likely not stall out no more. From what I know is that the Throttle body does mess with your MPG! It does stall out the car, can possible have the car not start up at times from the throttle body not opening up all the way. Acceleration can be weak and the throttle body will throw out a code telling you to check your engine.
99% sure it is a dirty t-body. Not bad, just dirty.
For about $6 in cleaner, you can remove it and clean it to be sure.
