Official Parts List for 06-09 LT Front Bumper Conversion

Alright, hopefully if I get a good tax return I'm going to do the 06-09 LT front bumper and SS grille I've been wanting to do for a while. I'm trying to put together a parts list and then post it for everyone else who needs it. I've been searching for 30 minutes, and I think I've got most of the parts. Can I get some input from other's who've done this?

19120213 - Bumper Cover
19120214 - Fascia spacer (same as SS?)
15787494-3 - Impact Bar Braces
15213549 - Front Air Deflector

The only parts I am unsure about is the bumper cover support brackets. Are those different? The catalog says they are included with the radiator support, which I've never seen anyone here replace. Then it does give part numbers for them under the cooling section. I saw in one SS bumper thread someone had part numbers for them, but I don't know if the ones for the SS bumper are the same as the LT bumper. Can anyone help here?

EDIT: GM Parts Direct has different prices for the "regular" and SS bumper support brackets, but the ones for non-SS they list as 02-09. So they may be the same? Maybe the next time an 06+ LT TB comes into work, I'll try and remember to measure the brackets on it and compare to mine. From what I can tell these are the brackets that the bumper mounts on the side slide into, correct?

Here's what I used when I did a 07LT fascia on my 07LS. I went with the TBSS style grille and fresh air openings. Since the grille bar runs through the headlights on the LS, I didn't want to buy the LT headlamps.

11609858 nut
15134119 grille
19121420 screen
10357171 emblem
19120219 grille

15213549 deflector
15787493 brace
15787494 brace
19120213 fascia
15175700 foglamp
15076246 foglamp

Yeah, I've definately got to find a used grille. All the parts needed for a new one will cost more than the bumper! Alright, then according to your parts list the brackets aren't different on the non-SS models. Since I've already got an LT, I can reuse my fog lights so that'll save a little for me too.

I'm presuming you are talking about the outboard "s" shaped brackets that bolt onto the core support and clip onto the Fascia. The brackets on the LS/LT are reversible.....the bolt on one way for the LS and flip over for the LT Fascia....the SS "s" bracket is a different part number all together.

Alright, I found a used grille for $200. I went ahead and bought that, I couldn't spend $500 for a new grille. I'm going to buy a new bumper though, since I won't save any money buying used there. I'm probably going to have to wait until I actually get my tax return before going any further though. I got this damn speeding ticket to deal with next week that I'll find out how much that is going to cost me.

That's actually where I found the grille. If I had to pay list price on the bumper of $500, I probably would look for a used one. But I won't have to pay shipping for a new one since I can get it through work so that'll save money and I shouldn't have to have any real prep work done to it either. Supposedly the grille is in good shape (he told me the other one they have has some damage), but of course paint is never guaranteed on used parts so we'll see. It probably won't save or cost me any money whether I have to get it painted or not since I'll also be getting some used SS rocker panels I've had for a while painted at the same time.

I don't want a used one as far as the bumper goes because shipping will be very expensive and it if happens to get damaged during shipping (or had damage prior) will cost a bunch of money to send it back. All I need is my damn tax return and I should have enough money to buy the rest of the parts and get them painted. The new bumper will only cost me $325 + $50 for the new spacer and deflector.

hi ZQ

I am not sure what LT in NA is equipped with but here are the models LS,LT and LTZ that used to come over here .. you can compare with NA's specifications. BTW, here we never got the SS through the Agent .. all SS models are imported from US individually.

Scanning that brochure it looks like the exported LTZ are very close in options to 02-03 USA LTZs and 05/06+ 2LTs. Standard leather, memory seats, etc are only available on LTZs or 2LTs in the USA.

Still dont know why GM has gone to this LS, 1LT, 2LT, etc trim level thing. Simpler to have have LS, LT, LTZ (or remove the "T" from LTZ and call it LZ). Heck, the Vettes have LS, 1LT, 2LT, 3LT, and 4LT! WTF???

Not only this .. get ready for GM surprise; i have discovered the Isuzu Ascender on the Web some times back .. check it out:

and;

I believe it is some kinda "Marketing Policies and Strategies" you know!
Ah yes, GM badge-engineered I believe 6 different trucks on our platform (Chevy TrailBlazer, GMC Envoy, Oldsmobile Bravada, Buick Rainier, Saab 9-7X, Isuzu Ascender).

Happens a lot with different models getting slightly different changes for other markets.
