Hello fellow Trailvoy members.

I have recently installed the TB SS 20" Polished Aluminum wheels on my 02 Bravada with 265/50R20 Pirelli Scorpion STR Tires.

I am awaiting the TB SS Center caps from the dealer where my dad works and also we plan on customizing them by putting the Oldsmobile logo on them. See last pic below..

I also have the clear/smoked mirror turn signals on order along with the small square silver GM badges.

Also a year ago I installed the Saab OEM 9-7x taillights and a few months ago the stainless steel exhaust tip was installed.

Thought about dropping it..not sure if I want to. It's AWD and ofcourse I'm also concerned about ride quality. The Bravy has rear air suspension and still drives real smooth with the 20s.

What are the concerns with dropping a 4WD/AWD Trailvoy?

The only concern I know of is you cant use the DJM arms to drop them because they wont clear the front driveshafts. Other than that, you can install some front drop springs and adjust the rear airbags to the height you want them. Read the threads about what the TB SS guys are doing, they have rear air suspension and do these things to lower them.

I've lowered two with air suspension and no real decrease in ride performance. Get your dad to hook you up with some '06 TB SS front springs PN 15780415, and adjust the rear air suspension sensors. You will get a 1" front drop and whatever you decide on the rear. Plus those front springs will look OEM and you can get a good alignment for the front end.

But don't stop there. Get a Torq #25 screwdriver and take off the luggage rack. Only 10 screws total, and will give it a whole new attitude. A lot easier to wash and detail without that rack. Then get the clear/smoked outside rearview turn lenses. The clear/smoked will fit good with your rear tail lights. :m2:

Others on here will have different suggestions. Good luck with your mods

:eek:fftopic: Looking closer at your Bravada, it has some SS similiarities: Front fog lights and the red reflectors in the rear bumper

LOL I coulda sold it and bought an SS but SS for me would = speeding tickets. The I6 with CAI is plenty powerful. I do like my Bravada since it's rare and Olds is now gone.

I have the Clear/Smoked turn signal lenses on order and also the Chevy Bowtie caps and Olds logo on order.

I'll definitely be contiplating droppin her. I was able to get closer to an SS yesterday on a dealer lot and the SS has the same fogs along with the similar red reflectors in the rear bumper.

Thanks for the comments guys!
