Hey guys...just had the azz end of my 2004 Envoy XL bottom out on me tonight. I can get in and turn the key and hear the compressor start, but it ain't lifting the rear end up at all. Both sides are ALL the way down.

is this check valve, or air bags???

How do I pump the bags up manually for now, so I can drive the thing, til I can get it fixed? do the air bags, have air hose connections on them, or is there some other input for air? and what would be the PSI to take them to?

Thanks for any help

I made the assumption that my bags were broken and replaced them, but they were fine. Couldn't understand why it wouldn't pump up even though it was running after I replaced the check valve. In my case I needed a compressor. After installing it, its been perfect!
Look at Arnott for the best price as described earlier in this thread.
Good luck!

Well..my course of action is this:

1. going to put in a "T" to bypass the air compressor to see IF my bags still inflate and hold air.

2. I am going to replace the check valve (can anyone point me to a "how to")?

The two above are cheap, and should be fairly easy.

Last resort

3. replace air lift bags
4. replace compressor.

So I already ordered my T from amazon.com and it should be here in a couple days... Can anyone point me to the part I need to replace the check valve for a 2004 Envoy XL?? and a how to thread?

Thanks
