January 2021 year purchased

Who'd you buy your reman from?
Acorn Transmission, 59200 Highway 51 Amite, La. 70422 (985) 748-4974 Acorn Transmission

That price was INSTALLED. If you took it out and re-installed, I believe he said it was $1300.00. Acorn Transmission, Amite, LA

They built a TH350 for my grandma's chevy caprice in the early 1990's and a 4l60/700R4 for me (1989 c-1500) in 2003 and neither transmission gave us problems for as long as we owned them, so I've done business with them before.

I have it parked in a garage of my property in Germany here, it needs an annual check up in a garage. Waiting for my date to come and do it, with this virus everything is delayed

I haven't actually done the trans yet. I'm not sure if it's actually the trans, or an issue with the trans control system (electrical). I have another post here asking about swapping both the bcm and pcm (known good matched set) from a wrecked donor that I have to see if it's pcm issues, but haven't heard any replies yet.

Had a 2003 Trailblazer with 222.000 when I finally got rid of it because it was Nickle and diming me in its latter years, still a good truck though, replaced tranny at about 160.000, but as far as any other major issues none, just water pump and regular maintenance.
Replaced that one with a 2004 Trailblazer with 134.000, figured why not?

I feel like I am nowhere near the most miles, but here I go: 159,685. This thing is a freaking beast. Right after I got it a couple months ago, I took it to Maine and we slept in it. Yesterday I drove from NH to NJ and back in one day and this car, (I named him Hank) kicked butt the whole way. There's a few issues here and there but otherwise this is a very reliable, comfortable and amazing vehicle and I did not expect this when I bought it.
