I had another thread in a different category about this problem.. Just in the last few days my drivers side has created this sound.. It sounds like something is vibrating.. Like a think metal just vibrating.. I've taken the wheel off to see if anything could be lose or what not.. Nothing.. Someone also told me that if i was to for instance, turn left and the noise goes away, it's my left bearrings..well, i tested that theory.. It still makes that noise.. The hub assembly is exspensive and I don't want to change it out and it not be the problem.. Anyone have any info? thanks

The noise doesn't always go away especially if it is getting really bad. It should lesson though. If you turn right does it get worse? Left wheel bearing. One other thing: When you checked the brake assembly, did you check the dust shield? They have been known to get bent and rub or rust out and flutter in the wind.:m2:
to be honest it sounds the same regardless.. It does sound like some small metal rubbing or vibrating.. i didn't check the dust guard. honestly i didn't see it. i looked for something of the sort to see if it may be loose or broken or something.. where exaclty in the brake assembly is it?
It is inboard of the rotor. Thin metal.
Right. The side closest to the engine.
