So there was some engine noise coming from the front of the engine so I brought it in to the local GMC dealer. The next day, they told me that they found the problem to be the water pump and it would be covered under warranty (extended). However, I got a call on the third day saying that they noticed the radiator had major leaking and now needs to be replaced and may not be covered under the warranty! I've never had any issues with leaking and never had to top off the coolant. I do normal maintenance on my ride and have never seen any issues with it ( I inspect engine compartment frequently), also no coolant around the bottom of the engine compartment or driveway. I just found it suspicious that they only noticed the leak on the third day and I know that to remove the water pump, sometimes people have to take apart or move the radiator around. Is it possible that the tech messed with the radiator when trying to remove the water pump and the dealership isn't fessin' up?

Ok, to follow up, I finally got my car back after numerous delays. Even though they said the radiator wasn't covered under the warranty, miraculously, they said they were able to get it covered. I suspect it was because they actually damaged it and didn't want to admit it. When I told them I wanted to see it after they told me it was broken that day, he said that they had already got rid of it even though I never authorized them to fix it since I was told it wasn't covered under warranty. Anyway, I'm glad to have it back and running like normal again.
