So I'm currently working on my 06 Trailblazer LS. I'm having some overheating issues. When I'm sitting idle it starts to overheat but starts cooling again as soon as I take off. I have been trying to work on this for 5 months. My schedule just wont allow me to put in the proper time. But I'm out of options. I have to get my baby back on her feet. I have replaced the radiator and thermostat. I check the cooling fan relay it's good. I'm about to replace fan clutch soon as it gets here.
I was wondering if anyone had any other tips. My next step is the water pump but I pray it's not that.
I had one more question. Does anyone know what this connection is for...
I am really lost on what it goes to.

It's the camshaft sensor. The cable that connects to it is to the left of the radiator hose. Here's a video link.
