Ok so, when replacing the trans in a trailblazer i had a bad torque converter and it would not set in all the way, i thought i had it set all the way and when i was tightening the top bellhousing bolts trying to suck it up all the way i completly broke off the very bottom 2 bolt holes from the block.... any ideas on how to fix it or should it be fine?

You might want to check with a mobile welding service to see if they can weld the piece that broke off back on. I think that the block is cast aluminum so don't fail to mention that to the welder so they can bring the proper equipment.

Good luck!

....... then take the front pump out of the transmission case and take it apart.

You probably destroyed the pump, the pump housing, the convertor might be distructo'd and the stator support might need to be replaced now too.

Next time, the convertor has to be so deep into the housing that you cannot get your fingers behind it. It has to spin free when the bellhousing is totally bolted up to the engine.
