Before I bought leds I removed my panel on my 08 tb and the lights were soldered on. No twist lock bulbs. I probed and found all grounds and marked them. I bought the led kit that has the resistor on the led. I bent the legs to match the height of the factory lights and soldered them on. It's awesome.
If they are soldered in, first you have to remove the old ones.
Heres a few tips from someone who has done a few boards already......l
40 Watt soldering pencil
Solder sucker or
Solder Wick... (not as effective)
Make sure of the polarity of the board.
The longest legs on the LEDs are +
Maintain the correct height of the new LEDs.
Make sure to buy DIMMABLE LEDs
Keep your fingers off the clear plastic... it scratches easily.
So I drive a 2006 LT and it has the headlights "without" the notch for the grill bar. I'm looking everywhere I can think of for some good looking updated headlights for her and unless I want to convert to the bar style grill there's no options. Anybody have a good site recommendation?

I wanted to remove my side steps and i pull pass side complete assembly and stood back and it does not look good. Has holes and does not look complete. Do i need side skirts from a lower model envoy to fill the space or what. From reading i had done i thought i could just pull it off and go...
