Hi Guys, I was wondering if anyone out there has a bra on their TB? I have a 2003 TB and I'm curious to see what a TB looks like with a bra, so please post pics if you can. Thanks...

WHOA!!! WAY A MINUTE!!! DON'T KILL ME YET, GUYS!!! I didn't say I was gonna put one on my ride. I just want to know what it looks like. To be honest I agree that “bras are meant for boobs not trucks”. :crackup:
Army, you should check out the Quad City meet thread. We have a meet here the 25th of July. Bring the family for a mini vacation. We are shooting for 25+ trucks.
Go to this thread and look at the 3rd post, rcam81 has one on his

Hey GreatWhite, High-Voltage sent me an invite via PM. The meet sounds like a plan to me. The wife's working on getting someone to cover her shifts that weekend. I'll keep you guys posted.
I had an 03 with a hood protector, not a full front bra. also put it on my 09.
will try to post a pic. hope it works. got from globalaccessories.com i believe.

I would be concrened about the paint under the bra and it not fading like the rest of the car. I guess if it protects your hood it might be worth it but to me I just dont like the look.
most cars that I have seen where this is left on (the hood obviously) for an extended period of time will start to rust out sooner then if it were bare do to all the water and dirt build up under the bra.

I had one on my first car....96 Cutlass, white....I hated the mess it left under it...GRRRR.....the paint was never the same under it....
some people like it some don't, to each his own. i've had a hood protector on my vehicles since my first 94 blazer. with that i had a bug shield on there first, after a few car washes where the dyers had rollers on them, the little rubber bumpers on the back of the shield left dents in the hood. since then i've used a hood protector. at least twice a year i take it off and clean it. also clean & wax the area where it sits. had one on my 03 tb for 6 years. actually bought a new protector after 5 years. color was the pewter metalic.
when i sold it, i kept the protector for my 09. did not notice any diff in color on hood. but again it's up to the individual, they either like it or they don't.
It can also make a difference which bra you buy, I put a Lebra on a GTO and a Grand Prix, and they stunk, way too loose, so we switched them to Colgan Custom, and those fit so well that it didn't move at all. The one in the thread I posted earlier in here, on Rcam81's truck I believe is the GM accessories cover and it looks like it fits well too. Something to be said for good quality, even though the Lebra is cheaper

Here is the pic of my TB with its bra and bug deflector. (I will save everyone a trip to the other thread). It is a GM Accessories Part. I originally had it on my 2003 TB. I take it off for the winter. I have never had any problems with water or dirt damage under it. When I take it off for the winter I run it through the washing machine and let it air dry. This is the 6th year that I have been using it and it still looks like new. The hood part of the bra has never been out of the box. :)xFor the right price I could part with the hood part.:x)

$ 115.00

This is the price from GM Acessories. A dealer should give you a better price. I paid $85.00 for mine. You could also try e-bay.
