Hey everybody, I've got a 2002 GMC Envoy with a 4.2 and a 4l60e transmission with 264,000 miles on it. I noticed a couple weeks ago it developed a shudder around 45 mph. So, one day I was driving down the road and gently grazed the brake pedal just enough to disengage the torque converter and the shudder stopped, as soon as the TQ engaged it shuddered again. I done some research on it and thought it might be the tcc valve in the valve body, so I ordered the reamer and the new valve and installed them along with a new wire harness. Now when I drive i noticed it locks in better than it did before but still has a shudder. Also, i was laying on the garage floor looking for leaks after I got done with it and noticed while idling there seem to be a clicking sound coming from the bell housing area. Could that mean bad torque converter? I appreciate any and all help
