My end links did the same thing. When I was doing my brakes, I was able to grab the bar and move it side to side with very little effort. When I replaced my bushings, I too noticed how easy the links moved. Very smooth motion, with no resistance. After replacing the bushings, I can no longer move the bar laterally, and body roll on turns has improved dramatically.

I'm pretty sure that the end links should offer a fair amount of resistance when you try to move them, and like mine, yours need to be replaced.

FYI, no visible tears in the rubber, no signs of grease escaping, and no clunking or banging noises. I think they're just worn out. I plan on doing them in the next couple of weeks.
