My Boss BASS1200 is currently sitting in the center of my cargo area facing up and I was wondering if mounting it to the back of the seat facing back or moving it to any position other than up with affect how it sound.

It is way too big to fit under the passenger seat. I have it in the back facing upwards. It sounds decent I was just thinking about making it face backwards.
