depending on the box sub up port back is usually best. really id recomend moving it around and seeing for yourself, though ive herd differant types of music (rock or rap) also effect the sound and box placement.

those subs (if thats what you wanna call them) are suppose to be mounted under seats for the best results. maybe fit it under the passengers seat.
