Looked in the manual - can't find an answer.

Don't laugh. :) How do you lock the back glass window. I hit the door lock button before I shut the driver door. All doors locked, but can still just stroll up and pop the aft glass window open. How do you lock it?

ThX!

Actually this is because the rod that locks the hatch is getting stuck. Happened to mine. Had to pull the trim off the hatch and slightly bend the rod out of the way so it doesn't get stuck. If you pull the trim and hit the lock button you'll see what I mean:cool:

Or it could be you tried the glass too fast, and you were in the delayed locking time. From the manual:

Delayed Locking
This feature delays the locking of the doors and the
tailgate when using the power lock or the remote keyless
entry system.
The first time you attempt to lock the doors with the
driver’s door open, three chimes will signal that delayed
locking is being used. This can be performed by
using either the power lock switch or the remote keyless
entry transmitter. All doors and the liftgate can be
reopened for up to five seconds from the time the last
door is closed.
Five seconds after the last door is closed, all the doors
will lock. You can lock the doors immediately by
using the power door lock switch or by pressing the lock
button on the optional remote keyless entry transmitter
a second time.
If the key is inserted in the ignition, this feature will not
lock the doors. The lockout prevention feature will
operate instead.
You can enable or disable the delayed locking feature.
If the feature is disabled, the doors will lock immediately
when a power door lock switch or remote keyless
entry transmitter lock button is pressed.

If you can open it for a long time, especially after using the fob, you have a hardware problem.

Thanks guys. I will check into these options.

Does anyone know what year they started putting on the auto lock out feature where it wont work if the keys are in the ignition? Also anyone know if this can be disbaled? I dont think it came on 04 cause i dont have it on mine and frequently lock my keys in the truck while running (ON PURPOSE :raspberry) if I am running into the gas station or something and will be out of the vehicle for less then 5 minutes.

Had the same problem with my ss . I took it to the dealer and they adjusted the lock mechanism. It's a quick fix and a common problem.
