I was swapping my 2008 Trailblazer LT’s original wheel for a leather wrapped one out of a 9-7x when I noticed my steering wheel does not lock when the car is off. I’m not sure if it ever did so I was wondering if this is an issue or if trailblazers just don’t have this feature to begin with. Thanks

Actually by NHTSA (US) Law, all steering wheels lock - from about 1966 or so, AFAIK.

There is a lug that goes into a notched wheel that will lock the steering wheel - and not totally sure about this model of vehicle yet - I've only just become a recent owner myself - I know there's someone here who can pipe in and straighten us both out.

That "lug" is operated by the locking mechanism - usually - by the position of the key.
