Has anyone here installed a Steering Stabilizer/Damper on their TB?

Prior to purchasing my '05 TB, I installed one on my F-150 (4 years ago), and it made a world of difference when driving through pot holes, speed bumps or anything uneven. I was just wondering if they make them for TB's or SUV's of our class.

Thanks,

Never saw one advertised. I do a lot of rocky offroad, and learned to drive with my thumbs on the OUTSIDE of the steering wheel because of the way the wheel would get thrown around. I think they're offered more for vehicles that can be lifted higher, and therefore exhibit more bump steer than our design.

Ya... that "wheel getting thrown around" feeling is exactly what I'm trying to get rid of. The thing is, I'm not exactly off-roading... just inner-city pot hole driving and lots of sunken man-hole covers, but if it's normal for our design, then I'll live with it.

Perhaps it wouldn't be so sloppy when I get the new Bilstein HD's on my truck. We'll see.

Thanks Roadie
