Hey guys, I'm hopping you guys can help me out with some general mechanic bleeding problems.

I was working on my buddies 04 Mustang Cobra, New pads, new rotors, new brake lines. Took everything apart, put everything back together. Bleed the system. The brakes feel normal when the car is not running, however when it is started up they are super spongy, no resistance at all.

I know the master cylinder is working because I do get brake fluid flow out of each caliper. We didn't tinker with the calipers other than painting them, so I can't see how they would be failing. I have no leaks anywhere in the system.

I'm thinking that there is air somewhere in the middle of the brake system?? (debating on weather or not to get a vacume bleeder to suck it all out).

That's my anaylsis of the problem, any inputs?

Does it have ABS?

As long as it was done properly, there shouldn't be air stuck half way. My only thoughts are air in the Master Cylinder or in the ABS pump if it has it.
