they say they will work on most 4x4 vehicles.

im sure that would open up some opprotunities,and you wouldnt need a spare track cuz they wont go flat

i know they arent cheap...

i have no chance of getting them,but what do you all have to say about them?


looks like alot of possibilities could open up in snow mud and sand for us...

alright so i got ahold of them today via phone and they said the model 88's would for sure fit,probably even without any body lifts.

prices they said were 2100 for the solid suspension

and i forget the exact,but somewhere between 2400 and 2500 for the independent.

NOTE:

i do not remember if that was the pricing for a set or for all four.

but here is the copy of an email i JUST got from them

but it just sent me pdf copies of the 88 series.

and yeah this is what i got in the text portion of the email

Well, I would start buying stock in whoever makes the power steering pump for our vehicles... The extra load from the tracks will certainly take out the pump. I've driven these on a 4-wheeler, and boy did the steering require alot more force than just the tires, as in non exsistent at stand still and an arm builder once in motion.

You may have to check your local laws about using them on the streets. Some cities/states have regulations against them being used on road and off road alike.

However, if you offroad a great deal, these would certainly be a nice Tread Lightly modification. As previously mentioned, a solid axle swap would be a good idea with a hydralic ram assisted steering added to the vehicle to make it more enjoyable to drive.

speaking of power steering...mine went out on me the other day

my mother put the thing into a ditch monday avoiding a whitetail,and its been draining through steering fluid since.

i spend practically all winter in michigans UP.
where theres more unplowed roads than not.
and alot of it is spent on 2 tracks and wilderness trails


just looking for alternatives to snowmobiles and 4WD quads


snow tires and snow chains arent cutting it very well in deeper snow.
(i know tracks wont put it totally on top of the snow...but it'd put it up higher)

i told the guy that im not 100% on what we'd like to do yet via phone.
