So last night it rained pretty hard here in R.I. I got in my truck this morning on my way to work, kicked on the a/c and headed off. As I pulled onto the highway, I got on the gas pretty hard and noticed that some kind of smoke/ water vapor was comming throught the a/c vents. I was trying to smell to see if I could tell what it was. There were no indications that anything was wrong, truck accelerated fine, no black smoke comming out the back. I think it was just water vapor, but has anyone else ever experienced this?? How would that happen??

If there was no smell, it was probably water vapor. I get the same thing here, NC, if I have the a/c on and the window down early in the morning. The cold air from the vents causes the water vaper in the air to condense and make white "smoke".

Thanks guys. I'm bringing it to the dealer tomorrow to replace the sway bar endlinks, so I'll probably just have them take a look while I'm still under warranty. :thx
