There is a bearing that comes greased from the factory, and sometimes fails, at the passenger side of the oil pan, where the CV shaft splines are inserted. You have to remove the CV remove this assembly for inspection. It's where the electric front axle actuator sits. Search for "splined shaft disconnect" for previous discussions and picsc of this unit.
