Ok, since the mirrors have finally lost their way again (last time was in 2005 still under warranty) to the point where it's bugging me. Part of me just wants to turn the memory off, but since I'm 6' 7" and the wife who drives the thing a fair bit is 5' 8", it's kind of a handy feature. Even now as they've started wandering, they still get it right some of the time.

At any rate, I'm thinking about going ahead and replacing the actuators or the whole assembly as I've heard the actuators are a bit tricky. This brings me to two questions. First, is there anything special about the assemblies? i.e. do I have to get ones that were specifically designed for the seat position memory and if so, how do you tell that? Second, once replaced is a reflash neccessary?
