Replacing stock stereo

Hi, Is it possible to replace the stock stereo in my 04 Envoy XL with an aftermarket stereo and still maintain the rse (rear seat entertainment) that i use for the dvd player in the back?? Was thinking of putting a dvd player up front since i have it and don't have a vehicle to put it in. However if i put it in, I'll lose my rse unless i find a way to wire it in to work with my aftermarket deck. Help??

Welcome. Moved your question to the Audio forum to catch the attention of the specialists. I know there's lots of adapters to get the steering wheel controls to work with certain head units, and some that can get the overhead OEM DVD player's audio into an aux input of a new HU, but I know of nothing precisely as you ask for.
