Something is wrong with my rear lift gate...
The window and the door will not open. I don't even hear the clicking noise when i hit the unlock button.
Does anyone know what might be wrong?? Please help.
Thanks.

Check fuses 3 and 19 under the rear seat. They run the liftgate control module.

Does your rear window wiper operate?

Do your other doors unlock with the remote keyfob? That would indicate the rear liftgate module is OK, and your latch problems are simple corrosion/rust on the latch mechanism. Remove the liftgate inside panels and look.

If it's not the fuses, or massive water infestation from a bad rear washer hose coming undone inside the liftgate, it's very often broken wires inside the insulation where the harness hinges at the top of the liftgate. Constant flexing is not good for the copper.

I tried to open the trunk with the remote and then the unlock button on the driver door. All the doors work fine but the trunk does nothing.
I'll check the fuses tomorrow, i'm in for the night,, really tired.
Thanks for all the help and i'll let you know what happens.

i checked the fuses and they were fine. The rear wiper works fine and the other doors open with the remote. I'm gonna take the inside of the hatch off and check to see whats wrong.
