Hi all,
My 2006 Envoy's rear defrost is not working. I checked the voltage between the 2 leads and nothing there. My side mirrors both work great.
1) is there a separate fuse for the rear defrost? (can't decode the manual if there is)
2) anyone know how I can get a wiring diagram for the rear defrost?

thanks all!

Here ya go. I'd check rear fuse #3 first. The LGM is the switching element, so the fuses are confusingly labeled LGMx, where x can be 1, 2, or 3, depending on the function. The fuse block designer should have been flogged for this and other abuses.

Fuse (LGM #2) 30A checks out ok.
I think the rear window latch needs to be closed in order for the rear defogger to work, right? that, AND the switch on the dash needs to be on.

I'll try following the wire to the LGM module, but it looks like after that it's just a serial link to the BCM.

wish me luck... :(
