Ok,

System installed, get a bit of alternator whine on the gmos-4 but I'm gonna install some ground-loop isolators to solve that problem... question I have is this:

the gmos-4 has "rear speaker hookups" coming out of it, 4 or them to be exact, 2 left, 2 right.

has anyone hooked these up to see if they're connected to the rear speakers?

I've got mine hooked into the line level outputs on my D3 unit, so the speaker connectivity from the HU is just sitting there unused. I'll probably look into hooking those up in the next few days if no one has tried it.

I may utilize the instructions on how to get the rear speakers hooked up here on the forums otherwise.

Thanks

set gmos 4 to proper chime level and then whine redusing mode

then add a ground line from case of hu to truck body 16 gauage
add ground loop isloator

that should fix it:tiphat

I would try to ground the RCA connectors on the back of your Pioneer D3.. There is a known issue with Alt whine, due to the RCA connectors on the Back of some Pioneer Radios
