So a few months back my step dad hit a deer with my 2004 envoy, ended up busting a headlight, busting the whole headlight bracket, busting the grille, and put a few cracks in the bumper. Well i replaced the headlight and bracket assembly, stitched up the bumper, and other small things. Well yesterday the blinker was solid so i took a look at the wiring for the headlight and it was all chopped up so i thought i would fix it up and theres two wires i cant seem to find where they go. On the front left side behind the headlight there is one black(guessing a ground), and an oarnge wire that is just dangling. Could someone please tell me what these wires are for, are they important, etc.

So do you think I could just ground that wire out with another ground wire? Or would that cause something to switch on?

I have the same problem, which makes me feel uncomfortable and confused because I don't know how to solve it.
