anybody know if i have to remove the power steering pump to get to the reservoir on an 2002 trailblazer? looking to save a few steps and all i want is the reservoir. Thanks in advance.

You might be able to remove it without removing the entire pump, but I think it would be a real pain. I'm not sure how you'd release the clips. Either way the best way to get at it is to pull out the air box and the washer fluid reservoir. As long as you're that far, removing the belt and the 3 bolts that hold the pump on takes only a few more minutes. Removing the pump took me a total of 10 minutes.

thanks doc ! i think i'll just replace the pump now since i already need to replace the cooler. Thanks
