i was running new speaker wire today and pulled off my drivers side B-pillar i noticed a plug just hanging not plugged into anything. What is that for?

take a pic

would be easier to tell

could possibly for the ambient temp sensor if u have auto climate control

i will take one tom. i got to finish the the install. Im not that worries about it just curious.

If the plug is near the top, and you have the manual ac control unit in the dash, you don't need it. It is for a cabin temperature sensor when the auto ac control unit is in the dash.

That may be the plug for the microphone if you had Onstar :D

no its towards the bottom of the B-Pillar i dotn have auto clim. control but i can see it being for an temp gauge. Thats cool like i said i will throw a pic up tom of it.
