Well wanting to add some thump to the baby hauler and still have plenty of room for the necessities (i.e. lots of crap). I decided to build and not buy a box (you have no idea how cheap I am) after making a cardboard template and figuing the volume of the box I was off to lowes.
Supplies..and 2 4'x4' sheets of 3/4" partical board

just a old pioneer ts-w29c running off a jensen lxa300 amp nothing spectacular... I had all of the equip laying around and some free time.
sub needs 1 cb/ft the box has 1.06 cb/ft
not even changing the hu just running the factory

I have no idea either... I am thinking about bondo'ing the thing and painting it. I dont know I want it to be a durable finish because it will in and out of the car for work and stuff.

so I got some carpet today that is pretty close to the pewter of the carpet. You can tell thats its not the oem, but it will be very close. Maybe I can get around to it tonight, pics to follow.

hahaha seems to be a better crew here then some of the other forums I'm on
Just waiting for the kid to go to bed... he did the paint job on the box cause daddy was drawing too

Update...

Its done :)
might not be the best carpeting job but it will do for the first time




total spent on box so far
$50
and another $38 for amp kit and line out
everything else I had... not to shabby
