hey everybidy, i have a 2006 envoy denali. today i opened my passenger side door and when i went to close it, it didnt latch! after messing with the latch on the door itself and spraying it down with wd-40 i had no luck. i pushed the latch down with a screwdriver and it doesnt lock. any one know if the latch could be broken and how expensive and difficult it could be to fix?
Passenger side door wont latch!

Never had a prblem with my Trailblazer, but my Silverado had an issue like that and I pulled up on the outside door handle (as in opening) whils pulling up on the latch. It was a PITA but it finally worked! Had this same issue with many vehicles over the years, not just GMs. Good luck
