Hey Guys

I run linux for my OS. I use Open Source software called "Open Office". I believe they have it for Windows operating systems now and it is FREE and legal.

It opens the spreadsheet and looks almost exactly like Excel. I will keep an updated copy on my laptop at all times now.
:iagree:

I am on-the-hunt for the Moulding where 3rd brake light mounts....the black plastic across-the-liftgate piece which breaks when liftgate is closed upon a bulky tie-down cord; part-number, part-name and source-for-purchase have mystified me, so far. Thanks

Compnine.com is your friend. :) From your descriptions, this pic I'm guessing could contain the part(s) you guys are looking for. I'd say start here (click the pic) and you might be able to track down what you're looking for. I'm not too sure on the black plastic piece across your liftgate that breaks on tie down chords, but some poking around their site, you might find it.

question about paint to match door handles, it says 2002-2005, are 2006 handles different or will the pre-2006 fit just fine?
Here it is, a comprehensive, easier to use and easier to update frequently requested parts catalog!

My goal was to provide an easier to use and update parts list for the community. All entries in the existing parts list have been copied, and some of them were revised for consistency, and the entire list has been reorganized (subject to change). It will eventually include links to pictures for each part. I also wanted to have a way to get updates for the catalog via community feedback in this thread (mods please move if necessary and sticky where appropriate).

It is in an Excel format for 1997-2003, so that more people can view it. Therefore, you will need Excel from Office 97 or later. I will eventually work out a way to publish it in html or in pdf so that the file does not need to be downloaded, but viewed in the web browser.

Here it is:
http://www.freewebs.com/nightworks/trailvoy/partscatalog.xls

Feedback
Everyone's feedback is appreciated and of course will help overall improvement.

- Let me know if you have problems viewing the file.
- If you found an error (p/n, part description, etc), let me know.
- If you have a submission to add, please post it here. If you can post an image or a hyperlink to an appropriate image, please do so to make things simpler.
- Entries without part numbers mean the part should be listed but no number has been added yet, feel free to post if you have the part number to fill in the blanks.

Updates
Since the file is located on a webhost, I will be able to update it as frequently as needed (so long as I'm available to do so). The log will be dated/timestamped each time I update it to avoid confusion of changes. There is a second sheet in the file titled "DevLogDet" which will contain a relatively detailed log of each update. Since this is relatively new project so far, various changes in layout and organization should occur until an efficient, easy to use format is used.

Again here is the link;
http://www.freewebs.com/nightworks/trailvoy/partscatalog.xls

Please keep the thread on topic (feedback, error reports and submissions only). In addition to log entries in the file, I will probably announce in this thread when a noteworthy update is made.

Enjoy!

Shot in the dark?

I'm a little late to this thread, but didn't see it mentioned...for users who had issues opening .xls files a few suggestions were made, including Open Office. FYI OO also includes ability to export to .PDF which I saw one responder hoping for...if anyone wants I can do it or walk someone else thru the how-to

Second, RayVoy initially expressed reservations but then cam on board after a few PMS - presumably he felt this was redundant but changed his mind...I never saw any explanation for what made the difference.

Lastly, the "Shot in the dark" per the title. I really want a particular Bull Bar, have seen very few pics of them on Envoy's for sale, and a couple more doing Google Image searches. I contacted one owner who swears it came as an option, he even recalls the additional cost. I've had no luck sourcing it ANYWHERE...local dealer here suggested that some dealer supplied vehicles are sent to places like Ground Effects for upgrades.

Does anyone have even the slightest suggestions as to how to find a part number or source for this :

UPDATE: thanx to ylab in another thread I now have the proper description and p/n's for this (Name / color / PN / MSRP)

Front Fascia Extension - Indigo 12498674 385
Front Fascia Extension - Red 12498673 385
Front Fascia Extension - Silver 12498675 385
Front Fascia Extension - White 12498672 385

Thx ;-)
