outside temp sensor 08 trailblazer

I just installed a compass/temp rearview mirror on our 08 trailblazer...the compass works fine but I'm not sure where the temp sensor goes on the 08, all other posts on this subject have been for other year models....can anyone help. The original mirror didn't have the temp/compass... thanks
