Hey guys, I happened to run into this website and had to join. There is a weath of info! I was reading the thread "OEM Navigation: More Info..." but could not get a clear answer to my question:

Can I get an OEM Navi system for my 2002 Olds Bravada WITHOUT any Bose system at all (it only has the 6 disk Delphi with rear seat headphone controls)?

I have read conflicting threads on this matter and was wondering if anyone could help.

Would I need to get a different amp?

Vehicle info: 2002 Olds Bravada
Onstar Equipped
Steering wheel controls
Rear seat radio controls

Thanks! :)

No Bose, no external amp. To get any OEM head unit to work, iirc, you will need the head unit from a non Bose Buick Rendezvous.
By head unit, you mean I will need to add BOTH an external Bose amp from a Rendezvous and a compatible Nav unit? Will I run into any programming problems? Do these Nav units run on BUS or any other computer system? or are they stand alone systems that can be added to my vehicle?
