Also, here's a thought...the neutral safety switch..did you pull engine and trans out together?? did you use the same neutral safety switch if so? The one that was on the car originally? Is the shifting lever correctly installed and is the transmission lever fully forward (park)?
Yes I pull the engine and transmission together. I think I used the one that was originally on the vehicle
Did you check battery voltage? Must be 12v. Did you see if shifter was pushed forward enough? Sometimes after engine swap they can be pushed backwards a 1/4 inch
