Hey Trailvoy!
question for those of you who have changed the color of your wheels.
would you recommend painting wheels, or powder coating them?
I heard many people rattle can their wheels, but does it look as good as powder coat? does it scratch when mounting tires? these are the questions I have. I know painting cost less, but it might be worth it to get some fresh powder coat and not have to worry about paint chipping off.

my vote is for powder coating. If done right it looks like glass.:m2:

powdercoating is best, however you can paint them. If you do it the right way, ie: Not a rattle can.

Automotive paint and clear coat will work well if powder coating isnt available

i just painted mine last weekend. with high heat grill paint. My friend who let me use his shop did the same to his rims a few years ago and hasnt had any problems. he just touched up the 1 rim from where he rubbed a curb but that happens anyway. yea its the cheap way of doin it but it still works. doesnt take alot of time. and if it does get scratched it takes 5 min to fix.
