Well I got this idea the other day of adding a dash camera. I thought this would be a nice thing to have, a) for offroading, being able to record everything that happens and b) if I do decide to storm chase again.
c) if something started to happen I could have the camera activated very easily.

So I found this website spytechs.com

I already have two 2gb memories cards for my digital camera, which would give me up to 8 hours of video.

Best of all its affordable, and the quality of the video is pretty good too.
What do yall think?

Haha that video would be priceless. I wish my friend and I had a dash cam.. we've had so much crazy stuff happen, when we tell our friends about it later they don't believe it. :dielaugh: lets just say that there's a reason I carry a baton in my truck. :laugh:

I've got a waterproof camera that I use on my mountain bike. It's by Oregon Scientific, called the ATC-2K. It can be found for $130 or so.

Again, the mic isn't great, as it's internal.

Another member here has this... Bobbyblaze. He posted some videos he took with it.. Looks very sharp! He's bringing it to the Wharton Day trip in a couple of weeks... should get some cool vids!
