I just pick up some new wheels that are 22x9.5 with a +35 offset and I am trying to figure out what tires to go with. The 2 that I am considering are:

285-35-22

265-40-22

I would prefer to go with the 285's all the way around but I do not want any rubbing issues. Is anyone running a similar set up that could give me some feed back.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Brian

265/40/22 are the most common among us with 22 inch rims. just classy enough to fill the wheel well, and beefy enough to protect the rim itself.

I got some nice GY Fortera SL's in that series, and they drive great on my Konigs!

285/35 is 29.9" tall and the 265/40/22 is 30.3" same wheel diameter meens the 265/40 will be better overall. The 285 will just look wide

Just to let everyone know, I went with the 285-35-22 on the 22x9.5 with a +35 offset all the way around and there is absolutly no rubbing anywhere. So with that said this a safe wheel and tire combination for a non lowered TBSS, it also appeares that there is plunty of room to run this set up on a lowered truck.

Hey Brian, nice setup, I'm running 265/40/22 on the front and 305/40/22 on the rear, dropping it just right for front and rear took awhile, however, it paid off when I was finally satisfied with the stance.
