OK, first a few "diagnostic" questions.
What side of the engine is it on - driver or passenger?
How many contacts are in the plug?
What color are the wires that are going into the plug?
Is the oil pressure gauge on the instrument panel working?
Do all of your front exterior lights work (including fog lights if you have them)?
Have you scanned the OBDII system to see if there are any Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) that might provide a hint?
Does your Check Engine Light illuminate for several seconds when you start the engine and then go out?
