I have been restoring an 05 Trailblazer LS with the 4.2L I-6. I tore the entire drivetrain out of it, detailed, rust inhibited and black shelled the engine compartment and undercarriage, then installed all new parts everywhere. New wiring harness, new transmission with upgraded hard parts, new transfer case, new rear end with locker, new suspension, new bilstein shocks, new brakes, new wheel bearings, new power steering pump, new coil packs, new spark plugs, aftermarket 2 inch lift kit, new custom rims, new all terrain tires, cleaned and extracted all the interior, bought a roof rack, did the body work to fix the dings and epoxy sealed them with anticipation of a vinyl wrap, and then slapped in a low mileage engine in it, or so I thought. The issue was the head gasket was not seated correctly and it started to seep coolant into #4 cylinder which activated the check engine light. Now the car sits with an empty engine compartment waiting for a new engine. Life gets in the way and I don’t have the time right now. My loss your gain. This is rare because I don’t think there are too many hot rod builders that treat a trailblazer like it’s a chevelle lol. All the work was done professionally and I have receipts for everything even a maintenance log showing service times and dates. If interested shoot me a call or text me. My name is Ian and my cell is 53o- four 4 zer0- 1107. Thanks for looking oh and last time I tried to download pics it wouldn’t post my add so get in touch n I’ll show you the eye candy.
