I have been working on turning my 2003 LT into a 2003 SS :D
One of the moldings got messed up so I took all of them off, then I took the roof rack and running boards off ... Next will be painting the faded gray plastic on the bumpers black. I want SS bumpers but cant afford them right now so I'll just paint mine
What y'all think?

if your considering painting the lower of the bumpers for a nice look you should also do the mirror covers and rockers but before hand id sand it smooth it would look ten times better. textured panels never really look good painted expecially when butted right against another smooth panel just ideas...... good luck!

Some quick things to help you along further....

-Paint match rockers
-paint match mirrors
-paint match door handles
-take off the dealer stripe
-lower it!

then if you can afford it down the road....(or if you can even find one for sale:bonk:), get an SS bumper

Looks good so far
