I just got done taking the side moldings off all 4 doors and I do have to say it looks very clean. I had already done this with my 04 cavalier, and compared to the truck today was 100% easier then the Cavalier.

I didnt have Goo-gone, so I used WD-40. Just sprayed it on the top tape and let it sit for a few minutes, took a plastic spackle knife and eased it down the tape and 95% of the tape came off in one piece, with limited amount of residual tape being left on the truck.

After that I just took some rubbing compound by Meguires and cleaned up where the dirt collected on the egde of the tape line.

Over all very easy to get the moldings off and took about 2 hours total with the rubbing compound.
