My headlights seem to be going out regularly. I would like to fix the problem to avoid changing headlights every other month. Also, my reverse lights don't work. Changed the light panel assembly, but that did not fix the problem. The windows on the left side of the vehicle do not work. I can hear a "clicking" noise when the switch is depressed, but the windows will not roll down. Its driving me crazy, please help. :bonk: Thanks.

First of all, thank you for the prompt response, and I apologize for my lateness, I'm new to this forum stuff, could'nt find where to respond.

The headlights are stock. For a while, I was having to replace the ride side headlight about every three weeks. And I noticed that everytime I replaced the lamp, the socket that I plugged the lamp into was getting more and more charred with each change, until I had to replace the socket. (spliced a new one) AND NOW, the left side is showing signs of charring, because now the left side headlight went out.

The power window buttons click and pop on both front and rear left side. I could not locate the fuse for those.

I have not checked fuse 32, when I pulled out the reverse light bulb, the sockets were charred, and the contact points were all bent out of shape, figured all I had to do was replace the circuit board. But that is not the case.

That's quite a list. Let's start the case history process to see how we can help.

Headlights: Did you change to aftermarket lamps, or are these stock? Low beam or high? Both sides at once, or not? How often specifically?

Reverse lights: Both sides or just one? What's the "light panel assembly"? The circuit board inside the taillight? Have you checked fuse #32 in the rear fuse block?

Windows: Do both the front and rear left windows fail the same way, with a clicking noise? Do they behave this way no matter which of the control switches you push? Do the lights slight dim (or the voltmeter go down a small amount) when you press the switches?

Are you tooled up for electrical troubleshooting - have a meter and know how to use it? Or are you more inclined to pay a mechanic to do the work? I only ask before we get too deeply into the schematics.

Well, thanks to you, I have successfully fixed my reverse lights, until next time that is. As far as the windows, I had to get the Blaze into the shop to get them fixed. I had swapped fuses, and the one good fuse was blown in the middle of rolling up the drivers side window. I replaced the fuse with a new one, and it immediately blew. I could not find the short myself, so I took it into Chevy, they found the short, and fixed it. Now all windows work. I am not currently tooled up for electrical troubleshooting. I am currently a student, living in an apartment with my girlfriend, and hopefully soon to be a firefighter. I have not the tools, nor the time, and especially do not have the facilities. But the Blaze has been good to me, and I want to be good to the Blaze. I have some questions concerning engine cleaners, Hopefully I can get a response from you on that one as well.
