They call it a moulding. Anyway it's the long plastic piece that the 3rd brake light mounts in, on top of the liftgate. I've got the right part number, ect. But, it says paint to match. Mine looks like a piece of black plastic, period. Is black the color it comes when delivered or do they all need to be painted????? Thanks:thx:thx:thx

My molding broke off this past weekend while on vacation. What is the part number for this piece? My is black also.

I replaced mine a while back. The replacement peice was black, and matched the old one close enough. Having said that, I'm pretty sure the original was painted black.
