I was adding freon in the port but noticed another port that sits in front of air cleaner. Is that a port for the rear ac, or do both front and rear charge from same port?

There is one low pressure port and one high pressure port. You add refrigerant in a gaseous state to the low pressure port. From there it goes to the compressor where it is pumped up to a high pressure hot gas. Then onwards to the condenser in front of the radiator where it is cooled and condensed to a high pressure liquid state. It is usually along this line that the high pressure is read by a proper manifold gauge set containing both high and low pressure gauges.
