You can swap in the newer design shift knob, not sure what year they started. There's 3 types...one with the black insert, silver insert, and wood grain insert. Depending on the year the knob will have a T/C button or not. Gauge cluster from any one will work...Rainier, TB, Envoy etc. Currently I have in a Rainer cluster with Envoy bezel. Also you can swap in a leather covered console lid like the Denali Envoy or have one made.
Modernizing TrailBlazer Interior
So I've been trying to find things to help make my Trailblazer look less aged. The exterior isn't too bad as far as that is concerned, it helps that it followed body language of the of the Silverados going though 2006-2007. I'm sure we can all agree though, that the interior shows its age very clearly, especially in my case with a 2002. Are there any suggestions out there as to help modernize the interior? Not wanting to spend a whole lot, but I'm open to whatever you think would be best. LED lighting is one thing that I know would help, and I do have some ideas around using vinyl wrap to help with some of the dash pieces that aren't easily removable.
I (for the most part) like the dash and cluster of the Envoys more, so if there is anything interchangable between the two, I am open to trying to source Envoy parts too, I just figured a lot of things wouldn't be very interchangeable as far as that is concerned.

Chrome Inside Handles and Chrome Vent Tabs are easy swaps, if you don’t already have them. I found these items, plus a shifter with a chrome “thumb button” in a Buick Rainer, cost me less than $25 at the pnp. I also have a e-brake handle with chrome, but it’s slightly more difficult to swap and I haven’t gotten to it.

I have a 2006 and LED Dash Lights make a big difference. Along with a new new Pioneer Touchscreen and rear screens, you cant get much better then that.
How's your audio set up? I recently changed out my head unit and that made a huge difference. Now I have nav and bluetooth, along with a host of other features. Didn't cost much either.

I used a JVC headunit. I dont have the exact model number with me. Install was super easy. There's a ton of videos on Youtube that give you step by step instructions on how to do it.what unit did you put in?

Not him, but I did in my TB, bought everything from Crutchfield, and it was an easy install and I am glad I used the suggested Crux interface that enabled original functions (door chimes, alarm, etc) to work as they had. Only issue I had was the speakers I chose didn't fit my door speaker inserts as the salesperson claimed they would (I had to alter mounts on the speaker inserts to make them work and it wasn't fun, but the speakers are great so live and learn).did you use a harness kit to attach it to the vehicle?
