My stupid friend jumped his truck off my 2002 Envoy and hooked up the cables to my fuse box under the hood rather then the battery. Now the majority of the things that are in the rear fuse panel don't work (radio, heat, auto seats, rear defrost) - the only thing I can tell that works for sure is the left and right blinkers. It appears that all the fuses in the panel are good.

Any ideas on what the problem could be and how to fix it? I thought I heard something about a megafuse - any chance it could be something like that?
Thanks for any help.

Sounds like it is the megafuse, in fact, the posts that your friend used are the posts for the megafuse (now you know where it is). you can pick it up in a parts store for < $20.

And, this is just me, but I could disconnect the battery before I changed it.

Welcome to the site.

2nd question - any good spot to research how to change the Megafuse?
Thanks again!

And print this picture and paste it on top of your fuse block cover for the next time you have an untrained goofball put jumper cables on any place other than the battery.

Note - yours won't have a spare unless you're clever and buy two.

step by step....

Jack up the rear of the truck via the differential
drink a beer
place the truck on jack stands
drink a beer
remove both rear wheels
drink a beer
put the pass side wheel on the driver side, and vice versa
drink a beer
sit back, admire your work...
drink a beer
now undo everything you just did....
drink a beer
now go back inside, reflect on everything you've done... reflect on the question you asked... reflect on the situation that caused this issue in the first place... after you've sobered up enough, continue
pop the hood
disconnect battery
remove the covers from the fuse panel
undo the 2 bolts that hole the megafuse in place
replace fuse
replace bolts
replace covers
reconnect battery
close hood
