I have a 2002 chevy trailblazer 4.2 l I6. I was driving it one day, not barbaric, and it pegged out my temp gauge. I immediately pulled over and let it sit, cranked it later that day let it run for about 15 minutes and then killed it. It's sad for about 2 weeks and when I try to crank it it would turn over but it wouldn't start. At first it was the battery, but after replacing it, All I would get is a spinning motor. It was like there was no fire. However, it would crank once or twice, as soon as i let the key fall back into the run position, it would die. I've changed the crankshaft positioning sensor and have a new battery. My next guess, I'm looking more into pcm failure or ignition switch failure
Finally the only light on my dash that is on, is the reduced engine power light
Any advice..?

Scan it - then report back.

You're all over the board here and you've gotta focus on the problem before you go broke loading up the parts shotgun.
