Looking at a black 07 with 146k miles on it. Price is $12k.

I have an 06 trailblazer LS with a 5.3 but looking to upgrade to what I really want.

Any pros-cons on one of these with 146k on the clock?

Carfax looks really clean on it.

Although I realize price varies bases on a lot of variables, but that price seems very high. Here in the Chicagoland area there are tons of TBs to be had in excellent condition with less miles for $6k - $8k.

Can you provide any other information about the vehicle? Does it have maintenance history? etc...

I truly wish I could get one for $6k or so. I would buy two of them.

Here they run from $12k up to a high of $26k with 42k on the clock. The average around $12 to $14k.

No maintenance record on it, but no accidents and no problems listed but it's sold.

There is another one with the same mileage for $17,500.

Cargurus says it worth $15k.

I wish I knew why I'm paying so much more than you are.

The good news is my 06 LS with a 5.3 is worth more than I owe on it.

Eidt: They pulled it, had a bad engine.

Well there is one in Portland for $13,900

The area really does have an affect on the price of vehicles. Maybe look elsewhere in the country for a deal. A one way plane ticket and a couple tanks of gas is only a couple hundred dollars. That would beat spending thousands more on a local purchase.

Sorry I couldn't be more of a help with your original question. Good luck on your search!

If that picture is the one you are wanting to buy, then the SS models may run higher in price. That might be the issue.

I ended up getting an 08 red jewel for $15k with 104k on the clock.

I'm pretty happy with it. I did end up putting a temp sensor on it the next day after I got it. It's amazing how much trouble that sensor can cause.

I've been busy doing a few things to it. Put a new touch screen in it, and changed the front and rear diff oil, and the transfer case. The diff oil looked pretty nasty, but very little on the magnet.

I'm going to change the oil and filter in the trans next weekend. Was gonna do it this weekend but didn't want to pay $8.69 per quart for Dextron VI. I found it for $4.89 on the Walmart site with $.49 off for store pickup. That's the best price I've found for quality fluid.

I ordered a PCM of NC tune. The parts should be here on Monday. I also put a trans cooler on it.

I'm really enjoying it. I had a chance to destroy a 5.0 Mustang that a kid at work owns. He could hardly believe it.
